Overview

Nurses constitute the largest portion of a healthcare team, and are therefore, considered the backbone of any healthcare system. Most countries in the world face shortage of nurses, and there are numerous job opportunities for qualified nurses, both at national and international levels.

Nurses provide protective, promote, curative and rehabilitative, independent and collaborative healthcare to individuals, groups, families and communities inside, as well as, outside the healthcare facilities.

The services of nurses are not only required in all healthcare providing institutes but are also integral part of other governmental and non-governmental organizations. School health services, community health services, public health services, health policy planning and administration are few of the notable areas where the services of nurses are usually needed.

Apart from these areas, teaching, research, curriculum planning and development to regulate nursing education and nursing practice, also fall under the scope of nursing profession.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma Nursing
  • Diploma Midwifery for females or any
  • Post Basic Speciality for males.
  • Both Males & Females can apply
